Description

Mexico's Day of the Dead: A Celebration of Life Through Photos and Stories is the first four-colour lifestyle book to explore the vibrant and important traditions of Dia de los Muertos, Mexico's holiday for celebrating passed loved ones.

Travel across Mexico to experience Dia de Muertos with author Luisa Navarro in vivid colour through the lens of photographer Christine Chitnis (Patterns of India). Essays on the origins of the holiday, as well as practical guides to celebrating – the different kinds of altars, and how to make your own, are sprinkled amongst gorgeous, sweeping photographs shot all over the country at various local festivals.

Whether you are new to the holiday and celebrating for the first time, or just interested in stories and photos from different celebrations across Mexico, Mexico's Day of the Dead will paint a vibrant picture of one of the country’s most storied and sacred holidays.
