Media Reviews
Inventive form, innovative language and an ability to push at the boundaries of poetry are hallmarks of Susan Richardson's distinctive and vivid poetry. These poems are alive on the page; challenging, full of wordplay, but always deeply thoughtful and engaging. Enriched by Pat Gregory's extraordinary black and white prints, skindancing moves beyond us beyond our comfort zones with poetry that is as visually exciting as it is linguistically and conceptually textured. Visceral and original, skindancing weaves myth with text-speak, shamanic lore with ecological angst, language poetry with the quotidian, to produce a collection that inspires, excites and demands to be read again. -- Publisher: Cinnamon Press
